They kept in touch afterward, and their bond gradually turned romantic. Their relationship became public in June 2024—but the coverage does not establish the exact date they began dating.
They met at a personal-growth retreat
Victoria and Andersen first crossed paths at a personal-growth retreat. A September 2024 Us Weekly profile describes them becoming fast friends there. Victoria’s account, as summarized in a November 2024 Yahoo Entertainment report about her Entertainment Tonight interview, was that they laughed together but did not feel an initial romantic spark.
Friendship grew into romance after the retreat
According to that Yahoo report, Victoria chose Andersen as one of the people she wanted to keep in touch with. They continued talking after the retreat, including long conversations, and their friendship developed into love. The precise point when they began dating has not been reported.
In a September 2024 Us Weekly profile, Victoria described falling in love “through talking and sharing and constant laughter.” Andersen also told Us Weekly in June that they “were friends first” and said, “It just became something more because we just love being with each other.” Those are the couple’s interview descriptions of how the relationship changed, not a dated account of when it began.
