Kaushal’s reported message focused on the grief of those who lost loved ones: “Can’t imagine the pain of the family members who lost their loved ones in the absolutely inhumane act of terrorism in Pahalgam. My deepest condolences and prayers”.

Condemnation of the attack
Sidharth Malhotra
Malhotra called the attack “a cowardly act,” writing, as quoted by Hindustan Times: “The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on innocent civilians is a cowardly act.”
Sonu Sood
Sood’s reported post condemned the attack on tourists: “Strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Kashmir’s #Pahalgam.”

In an official statement dated April 22, the Government of India said Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack, offered condolences and promised: “Those behind this heinous act will be brought to justice. They will not be spared!” The Supreme Court of India’s full court unanimously adopted a resolution condemning the attack on April 23. It described the violence as “a stark reminder of the brutality and inhumanity that terrorism unleashes.”

The celebrity roundup documents public responses; it is not an account of the investigation. In its April 23 reporting, the Associated Press said India cited cross-border links to Pakistan but had not publicly provided evidence at that time, while Pakistan disputed India’s position. Those claims should be understood as attributed, contested positions—not as findings established by the reactions or the official statements cited here.
