Nicodemou confirmed they were together in an interview reported by PerthNow in July 2024. In February 2026, 7NEWS reported that the Home and Away co-stars had announced their engagement.
What did the May 2024 report say?
On May 13, 2024, PerthNow reported that Nicodemou and Stewart had been photographed kissing outside a pub. The actors were already familiar to Home and Away viewers: they play Leah Patterson and Justin Morgan, a married couple on the soap. The article framed the photographs as confirming rumours, but the photographs were a reported sighting—not a direct statement from either actor that they were in a relationship. PerthNow’s May 13 report is the source for the sighting.

How the relationship timeline fits their on-screen story
Nicodemou and Stewart’s real-life relationship drew attention partly because they also portray Leah Patterson and Justin Morgan as married on Home and Away. A January 2024 New Idea feature described them at that time as friends for 25 years and co-stars for seven years; those are the magazine’s dated descriptions, not independently verified career calculations. The reported kiss, Nicodemou’s later confirmation, and the 2026 engagement are distinct milestones, not a single event. New Idea’s January 2024 feature provides that pre-relationship professional context.
