Qué concluyó la investigación forense
En la audiencia final, celebrada el 28 de mayo de 2025, la asistente de la forense Debbie Rookes concluyó que la muerte se debió a los efectos combinados de drogas prescritas e ilícitas. La cobertura de ITV reprodujo su conclusión: “Therefore, the conclusion is misadventure.” ITV News West Country informó que las sustancias incluyeron heroína, metadona, codeína, pregabalina, cocaína y zopiclona, con contribución del uso de benzodiacepinas.
Rookes dijo que no había pruebas de que Danan pretendiera quitarse la vida en ese momento, según The Guardian. Esa observación se refiere a la conclusión de la investigación sobre su muerte; no permite extraer conclusiones generales sobre su salud mental o su historial.
Por qué las primeras informaciones hablaban de una causa provisional
La investigación se abrió y aplazó el 11 de marzo de 2025 mientras continuaban los análisis. En esa audiencia, la causa se describió como provisional y se informó de las sustancias detectadas. La conclusión final de mayo confirmó que la combinación de drogas causó la muerte y clasificó el fallecimiento como misadventure. Por tanto, la información provisional de marzo no debe confundirse con el dictamen final.
