The complaint alleged that Breslin had reported aggressive, demeaning and unprofessional behavior by co-star Aaron Eckhart; Breslin’s representative denied the claims made against her. The suit was later reported withdrawn, and the available reporting does not establish a court ruling on whether the underlying allegations were true.
What happened on the Classified set, according to the lawsuit?
Classified is an action thriller starring Breslin and Eckhart. The Los Angeles Times reported that filming took place in Malta in February and March 2023. The production dispute surfaced publicly when production companies Dream Team Studios and WM Holdings sued Breslin, alleging that she had breached her contract.
As described in the complaint and reported by the Times, Breslin raised concerns with production and wrote a letter to SAG-AFTRA. The complaint said she refused to be alone with Eckhart in several scenes, and that accommodations were made so filming could continue. It characterized her reported concerns this way: “The entire production almost ground to a halt when Breslin advised the production of Eckhart’s aggressive, demeaning, and unprofessional behavior which she insisted placed her at various times in peril.” That is the plaintiffs’ account in the lawsuit, not a court finding.
What did the producers claim, and what did they seek?
The production companies claimed that the accommodations cost the project $80,000 and said the limited number of scenes featuring Breslin and Eckhart together could create delivery problems. They sought $80,000 in real damages plus punitive damages. The figure was the plaintiffs’ claimed loss, not money a court awarded.

The complaint also said an on-set producer investigated and found no evidence supporting Breslin’s allegations. That description of the investigation comes from the plaintiffs; the contemporaneous reporting does not independently establish what the investigation examined or concluded.
How did Breslin respond?
When the lawsuit became public, Breslin’s representative said she was unaware of the action and had not been served. The representative categorically denied the contentions against her and said Breslin stood by a statement she had provided confidentially to SAG-AFTRA. The response was reported by the Los Angeles Times and Entertainment Tonight. The confidential statement itself was not made public in those accounts.

Was the lawsuit dropped?
Yes. RadarOnline reported in January 2024, citing court documents it said it obtained, that Dream Team Studios informed the court it was dropping all claims against Breslin and other defendants. A December 2024 Just Jared retrospective also described the suit as withdrawn. The reporting establishes a reported withdrawal, not a judgment resolving the competing accounts or a stated reason for the withdrawal.
