The sighting is real, but it does not confirm that the baby is theirs. In September, Abby’s husband, Josh Bowling, declined to say whether his family had welcomed a child.
What is known about the newborn sighting?
Parade reported on September 15, 2025, that the conjoined twins had been photographed with a newborn in Minnesota the previous month. The photographs show them with a baby; neither the images nor the cited reporting establish the child’s relationship to them. Parade’s report does not confirm that Abby and Brittany are the baby’s parents.
That distinction matters: a public photograph can establish that someone was seen carrying a baby, but it cannot establish parenthood without confirmation or other reliable evidence.
What did Josh Bowling say?
In a September 7, 2025, report, Us Weekly said Bowling had spoken to People on September 6. He did not confirm whether his family had welcomed a child and said he did not wish to comment on the matter. His statement leaves the baby’s relationship to the family unconfirmed. Us Weekly’s account of Bowling’s comments also addressed a TikTok account using family photos.

Is the TikTok account Abby’s?
Bowling said the account was not owned by Abby and that Abby and Brittany had never had TikTok accounts. Us Weekly reported that images on the account were already publicly available and that the sisters’ individual Facebook accounts had been made private. The account should not be treated as an official source of family updates.
“We’re unsure who exactly runs it,” Bowling said of the account.

Us Weekly also quoted him saying: “They […] started using photos available to the media and everyone else. I can definitely guarantee that it’s not us.” These comments were attributed to Bowling through Us Weekly’s report of his conversation with People.
How does the 2025 sighting differ from the 2024 outing?
The newborn photographs are separate from an earlier public outing in St. Paul. TMZ reported on April 11, 2024, that Abby and Brittany had been seen leaving a Mexican restaurant after news of Abby’s 2021 marriage to Bowling became public. That outing predates the newborn sighting and does not provide evidence about the baby. TMZ’s 2024 report concerns that separate event.

What can medical commentary tell us?
Parade also included general comments from Dr. Sujatha Reddy, an Atlanta obstetrician who had not treated the sisters. Her remarks were speculative and based on information she said she could gather. They are not an assessment of Abby or Brittany’s individual anatomy or health, and they do not establish reproductive capacity, pregnancy, childbirth, or the identity of the baby.
For those reasons, general medical commentary cannot answer whether the newborn is theirs. The available reporting leaves that relationship unconfirmed.
