Jason Statham’s A Working Man became available to rent or buy digitally on April 15, 2025, according to a contemporaneous report from CBR. That was less than a month after its reported theatrical opening on March 28, 2025. The surprise was the early at-home release—not a newly announced subscription-streaming date.
Where the April 2025 report said you could watch it
CBR’s April 2025 report named Apple TV, Fandango at Home, and Prime Video as digital video-on-demand storefronts for A Working Man. These are the options reported at that time, not confirmation of current availability in every country or on every service.

Why the release was described as a surprise
The dates reported by CBR put the digital release 18 days after the theatrical opening: March 28 to April 15, 2025. The article characterized a roughly 45-day theatrical-to-digital wait as typical and this release as sooner. That comparison should be understood as the article’s framing, not as a verified rule for all films or releases.

Rent or buy?
A rental is temporary access, while a digital purchase is intended to remain in the buyer’s library under the storefront’s terms. The April 2025 report specified a 48-hour rental but did not detail platform-specific purchase rights or other conditions. Compare the current regional listing, the total price, and the access terms on the service you plan to use.
Was it on a subscription streaming service?
The reported news concerned transactional video on demand: renting or purchasing the film through a digital storefront. It did not establish a date for inclusion in a subscription streaming catalog. Availability can differ across services and territories, so consult the service’s current catalog rather than treating the VOD report as a subscription announcement.
