These are a handful of reported appearances—not a complete inventory of her private closet.
What sneakers has Taylor Swift worn?
Available reporting documents sneakers in a few distinct settings: a historical Keds connection, tour rehearsals, street style, and behind-the-scenes footage. The examples below are specific to those reported appearances; they do not establish how many sneakers Swift owns or whether she still has each pair.
| Sneaker | Documented context | What the reporting establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Adidas Superstar Kith Classics | Behind-the-scenes look in a trailer for The End of an Era, identified November 13, 2025 | Taylor Swift Style identified the pair as Kith Classics Superstar Sneakers. A standard Superstar today should be treated as a similar silhouette, not confirmed as the same collaboration or colorway. (Taylor Swift Style) |
| Nike Classic Cortez iD | Reputation tour rehearsals in 2018 | Who What Wear identified the shoes in rehearsal photos. Its $110 price was reported at the time and is not a current price or proof that the iD design remains available. (Who What Wear) |
| New Balance x Ganni 1906R, egret colorway | Street style in New York, October 2023 | Marie Claire identified the collaboration pair after its August 2023 launch. It described the collaboration as rare; a regular 1906R is a related alternative, not the same collaboration shoe. (Marie Claire) |
| Keds | Childhood recollection and 2013 collaboration / Red Tour era | Contemporary coverage documented a Taylor Swift Keds collaboration in 2013, and W Magazine included Keds among her rare public sneaker sightings in a 2015 roundup. The evidence supports a historical relationship, not current availability of the original editions. (Los Angeles Times; W Magazine) |
Keds: the clearest historical collaboration
Keds is the best-documented long-running thread in Swift’s sneaker story. The Los Angeles Times reported the footwear collaboration in 2013, while W Magazine’s 2015 roundup connected Keds to her public sneaker appearances and the Red Tour period. An archived excerpt of a Teen Vogue interview also attributes to Swift a childhood memory of wearing white Keds everywhere and describes the collection as drawing inspiration from her wardrobe. Because that quotation appears here through an archive rather than the original Teen Vogue page, the historical relationship is stronger evidence than treating the archived wording as a definitive primary-source quote. Why the sightings are unusual—and why that does not mean she never wears sneakers
W Magazine characterized Swift’s sneaker sightings as rare in its July 2015 fashion roundup, noting that she more often appeared in other kinds of footwear in public and onstage. That description belongs to its 2015 coverage; it is not proof that she never wore sneakers. Later reports identify the Cortez rehearsal shoes, the 1906R street-style pair, and the Superstar look in behind-the-scenes footage. (W Magazine; Who What Wear; Marie Claire; Taylor Swift Style)

Can you buy the exact sneakers?
Some of the reports point to collaborations or variants that should not be conflated with current, standard models. A presently sold Adidas Superstar may resemble the reported Kith Classics pair, but the available identification does not confirm it is the same collaboration or orange-accented colorway. Regular New Balance 1906R shoes are alternatives to the New Balance x Ganni collaboration, not interchangeable editions. Keds collaboration shoes and the Nike Cortez iD are historical examples; the cited coverage does not establish that those exact releases are currently for sale.
When looking for a similar style, search by the broader model name and check the listing’s colorway, collaboration details, and release information. Call a current pair “similar” or “inspired by” unless the seller or product record verifies it as the exact release Swift wore.

What remains unknown about the collection
Public fashion coverage identifies selected appearances, not a complete shoe-closet inventory. The cited sources do not establish a total pair count, collection value, or the proportion of Swift’s shoes that are sneakers. Nor do they provide a basis for ranking these pairs by comfort, durability, fit, or performance.
