Automotive features published in 2022 associated Johnny Depp with a varied group of vehicles, from a customized 1951 Ford Mercury and a classic Corvette to a Ferrari 488 Spider, a Rolls-Royce Wraith and full-size SUVs. Neither report verifies what he owns today or offers a complete inventory, so the cars below are best understood as models reported or pictured in those articles—not a definitive list of his present collection.
What cars have been associated with Johnny Depp?
Two 2022 automotive articles provide the basis for this tour. Guillaume Alvarez’s April 26, 2022 Sport Auto roundup names a Chevrolet Corvette, Ferrari 488 Spider, Rolls-Royce Wraith and Porsche 911 Carrera S among vehicles Depp had owned or driven. Its gallery captions identify additional models, but Sport Auto labels the images illustrative.
Álvaro Escobar’s May 11, 2022 Auto Bild España report lists a 1951 Ford Mercury, Cadillac Escalade, 1959 Chevrolet Corvette C1, Porsche 911, Rolls-Royce Wraith, Lincoln Navigator and Range Rover. These are secondary reports: they do not establish current ownership, and their lists should not be combined into a verified inventory.
American classics: the Mercury and Corvette
1951 Ford Mercury
Auto Bild describes the 1951 Mercury as customized with black paint, green flames and a green skull motif. That report provides the description; it does not independently verify the car’s ownership.

1959 Chevrolet Corvette C1
Auto Bild reports that Depp gave a 1959 Corvette C1 to The Rum Diary producer Graham King as a thank-you, and that the car appeared in scenes filmed in Puerto Rico. Treat this as an anecdote reported by Auto Bild, not as independently corroborated evidence that Depp kept or still owns the Corvette.
Sports cars and luxury performance models
Porsche 911
Both articles mention a Porsche 911, but their descriptions differ. Sport Auto names a 911 Carrera S and captions a 911 Series 964 in its illustrative gallery; Auto Bild refers to a late-1980s 911. The articles do not establish whether these references concern one car or several.

Ferrari 488 Spider and Lamborghini Aventador
Sport Auto names the Ferrari 488 Spider in its roundup. A Lamborghini Aventador also appears in that article’s gallery captions, where the vehicle images are identified as illustrative. The caption is not proof that Depp owned that specific model.
Rolls-Royce Wraith
The Wraith is the clearest point of overlap: both Sport Auto and Auto Bild list it. That agreement shows the model appeared in both 2022 reports, but does not confirm ownership today.

Large SUVs and people movers
Auto Bild lists a Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator and Range Rover. It says the Range Rover’s exact model was unknown; its suggestion that it might be an SV Autobiography is speculation, not an established trim. Auto Bild’s ideas about how the SUVs might have been used are likewise conjecture, rather than documented facts.
Sport Auto’s illustrative gallery captions also name a Lincoln Navigator, Mercedes-Benz S550 and Mercedes V-Class. Because those are gallery captions accompanying illustrative images, they should be treated as models featured by the page, not as confirmation that each was part of Depp’s personal fleet.

How large was the collection?
Auto Bild says the collection might include as many as 40 models, but explicitly presents that number as rumor. It is not a verified count or a reliable measure of the collection’s size. Neither 2022 feature supplies a definitive inventory, a documented valuation or evidence of which vehicles remain in Depp’s possession.

The available reports do not establish current ownership. They describe vehicles Depp had owned or driven, list models associated with him, or show illustrative gallery images; none provides a recent, independently verified account of his present garage. The most accurate answer is that these cars were associated with Depp in 2022 reporting, while what he owns now is unconfirmed.
