That differs modestly from Box Office Mojo’s displayed figure, so it is best to attribute and round the total rather than imply that both sources give an identical final number. How its opening compared with projections
Before release, analysts cited by the AP projected an opening of about $80 million domestically. On April 6, 2025, the AP reported studio estimates of $157 million domestic and $301 million worldwide for the opening weekend. Box Office Mojo and The Numbers list the eventual domestic opening weekend at $162,753,003, above the pre-release analyst projection. Why the budget is not the break-even point
The $150 million figure describes production, and the AP explicitly says it excludes marketing and promotion. A break-even calculation would also depend on costs beyond production and on how theatrical revenue is divided among theaters and the release chain. Financing and revenue from later distribution can affect the overall result as well.

The worldwide gross totals ticket sales, not the amount paid to the studio. The sources cited here do not provide the film’s final studio receipts or full accounting, so the gap between its reported gross and production budget cannot be treated as profit. Warner Bros.
