Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has extended his music career into clothing, consumer products, publishing, spirits, and film and television. His official website currently foregrounds four areas—Music, Spirits, Film, and Philanthropy—while several widely reported ventures, including G-Unit apparel, Formula 50, and SMS Audio, are best treated as historical rather than assumed to be active today.
What 50 Cent’s business portfolio looks like today
Jackson’s official website groups his public-facing work under Music, Spirits, Film, and Philanthropy. It also links to a Sire Spirits shop and provides a contact route for distribution inquiries. Those listings show what the site currently highlights; they do not establish the ownership, operating status, or financial performance of every business associated with him.
The ventures span different kinds of involvement: a brand built around his music, consumer-product collaborations, publishing, spirits products, and production work. A past product launch, a reported investment, and a current category on an official site are not equivalent evidence of an active company or Jackson’s precise stake in it.
G-Unit: music expanded into apparel and footwear
G-Unit became more than a music identity, extending into clothing and footwear. A 2007 Village Voice profile interviewed Jackson at G-Unit Clothing headquarters, evidence that apparel was a visible business concern at the time. BET’s overview also lists G-Unit Clothing among his notable ventures.

Historical coverage records a G-Unit shoe line associated with Reebok. These examples show how the brand crossed from entertainment into consumer goods, but they do not confirm that the apparel or footwear lines remain in retail operation now. G-Unit as a group or brand, a record label, a clothing company, and licensed products should not be treated as one interchangeable legal entity.
VitaminWater and Formula 50: an investment with conflicting payout reports
Jackson’s connection to Glacéau VitaminWater combined an investment with a product collaboration, Formula 50. CBS News reported in 2013 that he had an investment in the company and worked with it on the flavor. Its account associated Coca-Cola’s acquisition of Glacéau with a reported $60 million in earnings for Jackson. Fortune’s 2015 profile gave a different reported personal proceeds figure: $100 million.
Those figures conflict, and neither account is a primary transaction filing. Without the underlying acquisition and ownership records, it is not possible to treat either number as a settled personal payout. They are historical media reports, not evidence of current income.
Rank #2
SMS Audio and other consumer products
SMS Audio was Jackson’s headphone business, identified as such by Fortune in 2015. CBS reported that Jackson said he sold $300,000 worth of headphones during a ten-minute QVC appearance. That is his attributed account of a sales event, not independently audited sales data; the available reporting also does not establish the company’s current status or product availability.
The episode illustrates a route from celebrity visibility to direct product sales, but one reported television appearance cannot establish a company’s overall sales or long-term performance.
Books and publishing
Publishing is another part of Jackson’s business identity. BET lists From Pieces to Weight and The 50th Law among his books. They show how his public story and business persona extended into book publishing, alongside music and consumer brands. Current editions and availability can vary by retailer, so the titles themselves should not be taken as evidence of a currently operated publishing business.
Rank #3
Sire Spirits: Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi
Spirits is one of the categories Jackson’s official site currently highlights. The site links to a Sire Spirits shop and distribution inquiries, and names Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi Champagne among the brands associated with the venture.
In 2023, the Washington Commanders announced Branson Cognac as the team’s official cognac and Le Chemin du Roi as its official champagne. That announcement establishes the partnership as presented at the time; it does not establish whether it remains in force. Nor do the public listings and partnership announcement specify Jackson’s ownership economics, product margins, or sales.

The coverage dates the collaboration; it does not establish broader current availability or the commercial terms.
Film and television production
Jackson’s official site currently lists Film as a work category. Forbes discussed G-Unit Film and Television and projects in development in a 2023 interview, placing production among his documented entertainment ventures.
In an October 2025 interview with XXL, Jackson described the scale of his pipeline at that point: “I currently have 40 shows across 12 different networks, 10 of them are going towards air,”. This is Jackson’s own dated account of projects across networks, not an independently audited slate or a confirmed count for 2026. A project in development or headed toward broadcast is also not the same as a released program.

Philanthropy is a separate category on Jackson’s official site, which links to G-Unity. Forbes reported in 2023 on the foundation’s youth business-program activity in Houston. That charitable work belongs alongside, but should not be conflated with, commercial ventures.

Some sports partnerships have also been presented as connecting brand promotion with community programs. Such overlap does not make a charitable foundation a commercial product line; the two activities have distinct purposes and should be evaluated separately.
Not every venture succeeded
Expansion into new industries has not meant every venture endured. Fortune’s 2015 profile said Jackson’s boxing promotions company had failed. That account is a historical outcome reported in 2015, not a statement about any later activity. It is a useful counterpoint to the better-known product and production ventures: celebrity-backed business efforts can close or fall short as well as gain visibility.
How to read the record
- Current public-facing categories: Music, Spirits, Film, and Philanthropy appear on Jackson’s official site, alongside Sire Spirits shop and distribution links.
- Documented historical extensions: G-Unit apparel and footwear, Formula 50, and SMS Audio show earlier efforts in consumer products.
- Reported outcomes need attribution: the VitaminWater payout accounts disagree, while the QVC headphone sales figure is Jackson’s reported claim.
- Partnerships and project counts are time-bound: the Commanders announcement dates to 2023, and Jackson’s 40-show statement dates to October 2025.
Taken together, the record shows an entertainment career extended into a varied set of products, brands, publishing, and production. It does not provide a consolidated, verified valuation or current revenue total for Jackson’s business interests.
