A new John Wick AAA game has been officially announced for PlayStation 5. Saber Interactive is developing it in collaboration with director Chad Stahelski, actor Keanu Reeves and Lionsgate. The announcement, published February 12, 2026, did not give the game an official title or release date.

PlayStation Blog’s February 12, 2026 announcement confirms an untitled John Wick AAA game for PS5. Saber Interactive is developing the project and says it is working closely with Stahelski, Reeves and Lionsgate.
The post’s Game Director, Jesus Iglesias, summed up the reveal: “And ‘yeah’, it’s a John Wick AAA game!”

Saber describes an original interactive narrative set during a specific period in the John Wick timeline. Cinematic action, gun-fu and driving
The announcement points to cinematic camera work, neo-noir environments, gun-fu and driving, alongside a combat system being developed for the game. These are the creative direction described at reveal, not independently demonstrated gameplay or a final feature list.

How does the game fit into the wider franchise?
A Lionsgate investor presentation filed with the SEC lists the AAA game alongside John Wick 5, an animated prequel and the Under the High Table series. The presentation labels the game as in development; it does not provide a schedule or launch window.

No. The announcement does not establish a release date, preorder or physical game edition, so there is no confirmed game version to purchase yet. The John Wick site lists film editions on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD, but those are movie formats, not editions of the announced game: official John Wick site.
