TLC’s account points to a buildup of arguments, intimacy problems and conflict over immigration paperwork for Jasmine’s sons. Later, the couple agreed to an open marriage on 90 Day: The Last Resort, but clashed over Gino’s allegation that Jasmine had been seeing Matt beforehand. Jasmine disputed that account. Their divorce was later reported finalized in Michigan, according to Gino’s representatives.
Why did Gino and Jasmine split up?
The available accounts describe a relationship strained by several problems, rather than one decisive event. TLC’s retrospective recounts recurring arguments, intimacy issues and disagreements over paperwork intended to bring Jasmine’s sons to the United States. Those tensions formed part of the couple’s story across multiple 90 Day Fiancé programs.

Their later decision to try an open marriage did not resolve the relationship. TLC says they agreed to one during season 2 of 90 Day: The Last Resort and ultimately parted ways. The televised dispute about Matt became a particularly pointed conflict, but the sources do not establish it as the sole reason for their breakup.
What happened with Matt—and what did each of them say?
In a confrontation recapped by TV Insider, Gino accused Jasmine of seeing Matt before she and Gino had agreed to an open marriage. Jasmine disputed his account. She said she had called Matt to arrange rides to the gym because Gino would not drive her. These are competing claims made during a televised argument; the reporting does not independently establish that Jasmine cheated.

TV Insider reported on June 25, 2026, that Gino’s representatives said the Michigan divorce had been finalized. The report quoted their characterization of the outcome, but did not provide the court judgment or filing details. The finalization is therefore best described as reported by TV Insider based on Gino’s representatives, rather than as a court record independently reviewed here.
