Season 4 has concluded, and Apple’s season page lists every episode as available. The story answers the biggest questions raised by Richmond’s women’s-team proposal at the end of season 3, while leaving room to wonder what might come next. Apple TV’s season page may show different availability by region.
1. Does Richmond get a women’s team?
Yes. Richmond’s women’s team becomes the central sporting story of season 4, turning the proposal introduced at the end of season 3 into a real team. Apple described the renewed season as a story about AFC Richmond learning to take chances; the season’s finale finds the team at the end of its inaugural season. Apple TV Press’ renewal announcement and TVLine’s finale recap frame the season’s larger arc and ending.

2. What becomes of Ted’s coaching role?
Ted remains at Richmond, but he does not stay the women’s team’s head coach. In the finale, he asks to become assistant manager, and Alice takes the head-coach job. That gives the team a continuing leader while keeping Ted involved at the club. This finale detail is reported in TV Insider’s October 7, 2026 finale explainer, rather than an official transcript.
3. Where does Roy’s coaching career go?
Roy accepts the head-coach position at Chelsea. It is a major professional step away from Richmond, but the move alone does not establish a romantic breakup with Keeley.

4. What happens to Roy and Keeley?
Roy and Keeley are expecting a child together. The finale recap also reports that Keeley appears to remain Richmond’s public-relations lead. The pregnancy gives their immediate story a clear next chapter, but the season does not settle what their family life will look like beyond its ending.
5. Does Rebecca lose Richmond to Zelda?
No. Rebecca and Higgins uncover Zelda’s plan to take control and retain majority ownership of the club. Zelda remains invested in Richmond, however, so the resolution is not that she simply disappears from the story.

No fifth-season renewal is established by the sources available here. Apple announced the season 4 renewal on March 14, 2025, and its current season page lists season 4 episodes, but neither a completed story nor the finale’s open possibilities amount to a season 5 order. In that renewal announcement, Jason Sudeikis said the team would be “discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be.” That describes the season’s intended outlook, not a promise of another one.
