A seven-car list and the label “million-dollar collection,” however, come from secondary coverage—not a verified current inventory or appraisal. Here are the seven models one outlet reported, with the limits of what is known about each.
What is—and isn’t—known about Akon’s cars
The seven-model lineup below was published by Seneweb in 2021, alongside an estimate that the collection was worth about $1 million. The article does not provide an appraisal or establish that Akon owned every listed vehicle at the time. Treat the models as reported claims, not a confirmed garage, and the dollar figure as Seneweb’s estimate rather than an established value.
There is stronger, direct evidence for a smaller number of vehicles. In a 2015 interview with a Carleton University student paper, Akon confirmed that the Lamborghini Gallardo featured in a music video was his. He said he had painted it white after first getting it in grey. He also said he was downsizing, had kept his Range Rover, and had a Tesla. Those statements describe his holdings at that time, not his present-day collection. Read the 2015 interview.
Later accounts give a different sense of scale but still do not supply an itemized inventory. Complex reported in 2025 that Akon recalled once owning over 30 cars. A separate VladTV article from July 2025 summarized him as saying he owns 30 cars, without listing the models in its accessible text. Seneweb’s 2021 list names these vehicles. The evidence in the table distinguishes the source’s claim from what is independently confirmed; it does not establish that the other six were owned by Akon.

Why the million-dollar label needs qualification
Seneweb estimated the collection at approximately $1 million in 2021, but did not show a documented appraisal. That figure should not be read as a verified valuation or as a current market value for the seven cars. The available reporting also does not assign a substantiated price to each model in the list.
What Akon said about the Gallardo, Tesla, and Range Rover
The 2015 interview provides the most specific first-person account in the cited coverage. Akon said he used his own cars in music videos rather than renting them, and confirmed that the Gallardo shown in one video belonged to him. In the same interview, he described downsizing and said he had gotten rid of everything else except his Range Rover, while also having a Tesla. This is a snapshot of what he said then, not proof of what he owns now.

In a 2014 interview with the Daily Star, Akon called Tesla his favorite at the time and compared it with his Lamborghini. That supports a period preference, not a claim about his current favorite or daily driver. Read the Daily Star interview.

Complex’s 2025 account describes T-Pain arriving in a Bugatti. The story’s reported $1.7 million price is Akon’s recollection of what that car cost at the time; it is not evidence that Akon owned the Bugatti or that his collection was worth that amount.
