BGR reported that 69 movies were added to Hulu on June 1, 2025, and named Alien (1979), Before Midnight (2013), and Predator (1987) as its top three picks. That is a dated catalog snapshot, not confirmation that these films are still available on Hulu today.
What the June 2025 Hulu roundup covered
Jacob Siegal’s BGR article, published June 3, 2025, described 69 movies as newly streaming on Hulu after a reported June 1 arrival. Its headline’s “now streaming” wording referred to that moment in 2025. The article does not establish present-day availability, and its list should be read as a historical report rather than a current Hulu watchlist. Read BGR’s original roundup.

BGR’s three picks, among the reported additions
BGR singled out Alien (1979), Before Midnight (2013), and Predator (1987). The roundup identifies them as editorial picks but does not provide a comparable scoring system or enough detail to treat them as an objective ranking.
Alien (1979)
20th Century Studios classifies Ridley Scott’s film as horror and science fiction. It lists a May 25, 1979 release date and a runtime of 1 hour 55 minutes. The studio’s page lists the film in Blu-ray, DVD, and digital formats; those formats are separate from Hulu access. See 20th Century Studios’ official film page.

How to use this list now
Before choosing a film, check Hulu’s current catalog for your location: the June 2025 report does not show which titles remain available, and it does not establish current regional availability, subscription prices, or plan features. If a title is no longer on Hulu, its availability elsewhere needs to be checked separately.
For a physical-media option for Alien, 20th Century Studios lists Blu-ray and DVD as well as digital. A disc purchase does not provide Hulu access.
