The film did reach a festival slate and was later described as a DVD release. But “no one saw” is a punchline, not a verified audience statistic: the available sources do not establish how many people watched it.
Which movie did 50 Cent lose weight for?
Jackson took the role of a college football player with cancer in Things Fall Apart, the title used in early 2010 coverage. The film was later referred to as All Things Fall Apart. A 2011 Aruba International Film Festival interview described Jackson as starring in and producing the film, and Paramount’s investor-relations announcement included All Things Fall Apart in the Urbanworld Film Festival slate for September 2011. A 2012 interview with director Mario Van Peebles described it as a DVD release.

How much weight did he reportedly lose, and how?
A May 27, 2010 CBS News report said Jackson went from 214 pounds to 160 pounds—54 pounds—over nine weeks for the role. CBS attributed the figures to Jackson’s website, ThisIs50.com. The same report described a liquid diet and three hours a day walking on a treadmill. These are details of contemporary reporting, not independently verified medical records or a recommended weight-loss plan. CBS News, May 27, 2010.

- Factory sealed DVD
In a June 4, 2010 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Jackson recalled a routine that included an electrolyte and vitamin drink, running, and sleeping around his touring and performance schedule. He said he was back to 190 pounds and was trying to regain the 214 pounds he said he had weighed at the start of filming. Those figures describe his account at that time, not a later or current weight. Los Angeles Times, June 4, 2010.
Why did the role matter to him?
Jackson connected his motivation to a close friend who died of cancer. In the Los Angeles Times interview, he said, “It was a part that was really relevant to me, because when I was growing up one of my close friends died of cancer.” He also called the transformation “pretty tough.” His explanation gives the weight-loss story a personal context; it does not establish that the film portrays his friend’s life.

Was the movie really one nobody saw?
That claim is not substantiated. The film appeared in a 2011 festival announcement and was later described as a DVD release, but neither fact tells us how many people watched it. A 2021 report discussed a meme using “nobody watched” phrasing; a meme is not audience data. Without a reliable viewing, sales, or box-office figure, “no one saw” should be read as comic exaggeration rather than a literal finding.
These sources also do not establish the film’s current streaming availability or whether a DVD is currently in stock.
