On July 7, 2022, Re-Logic announced that it was working with 50 Amp Productions on a Terraria graphic novel series. The original plan called for four parts per book, starting with Issues 1–4 and then a collected Book One. A later Terraria update reported that the collection was set for release on October 15, 2024; that historical notice does not establish whether it is in stock today.
What Re-Logic announced
Re-Logic said it was collaborating with 50 Amp Productions across the graphic novels’ creative production, including scripting, line art and coloring. The studio described the goal as balancing fidelity to the Terraria experience with enough creative freedom to tell an engaging story in the game’s universe. Read Re-Logic’s July 7, 2022 announcement on Steam.
“We here at Re-Logic have been working closely with our partners at 50 Amp Productions on all aspects of the graphic novels – from script to lineart to coloring and more, we really feel like these are a perfect balance between staying authentic to the Terraria experience while taking enough creative license to be able to craft an engaging story within the Terraria universe.”
The statement is attributed to Re-Logic/Terraria and signed “Terraria – Loki ISP”; the announcement does not name an individual speaker.

How the announced series was structured
The July 2022 plan described each book as four parts. The first story was to appear in standalone Issues 1–4, followed by a completed Book One collecting those installments. This is the announced format, not a claim about the series’ current or future publication schedule.
How the rollout changed over time
August 2022: Issue One orders
On August 11, 2022, Terraria said orders for Issue One were open. Its notice described printed issues and optional collectible bundles, and anticipated that a complete Book One would reach booksellers, retailers and online in Q1 2023. That was an expectation stated at the time, not the eventual release date. See the Issue One ordering notice.
September 2022: what the order cut-off meant
A September 22 notice explained that an order “cut-off” related to the initial shipment window and did not necessarily mean orders would stop. It also cautioned that a sellout could require waiting for a manufacturing reorder. Read the Issue Three ordering clarification.
2024: the collected Book One edition
A later Terraria update reproduced in a PDF reported October 15, 2024 as Book One’s release date. It said the edition collected Issues 1–4 and was planned to include “Terraria Short Stories” as extras. The update also reported preorders at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Those are dated retailer details, not confirmation of present stock or format options. See the reproduced Terraria update in the September 2024 PDF.

Individual issues or the Book One collection?
| Format | What the historical notices establish | What to verify before buying |
|---|---|---|
| Individual print issues | The 2022 rollout described standalone issues and optional collectible bundles. | Current availability, price, shipping and bundle contents; the notices do not establish these today. |
| Collected Book One | The 2024 update reported that it collected Issues 1–4, with “Terraria Short Stories” planned as extras. | Current listing, stock, edition and included extras. The dated update reported preorders, not current inventory. |
If you want the complete first story in one volume, Book One is the relevant edition based on the reported contents. If you are looking for collectible issue packages, the 2022 notices describe those as part of the initial rollout, but do not show whether they remain available.
