Yes—Keira Knightley is a West Ham United supporter, and the Premier League also lists Danny Dyer, James Corden, Elijah Wood and Ray Winstone among the club’s famous fans. The five are examples from the league’s feature, not a definitive or complete list.
Which celebrities support West Ham?
The Premier League’s feature, “Who is each Premier League club’s most famous fan?”, names these five in its West Ham United section:
- Keira Knightley, the English actor, is the section’s featured supporter.
- Danny Dyer is listed among West Ham’s other famous fans.
- James Corden is listed among West Ham’s other famous fans.
- Elijah Wood is listed among West Ham’s other famous fans.
- Ray Winstone is listed among West Ham’s other famous fans.
The article also names Seth Meyers, Pixie Lott and Triple H, so these five should not be read as the only celebrities who support the club.
Is Keira Knightley a West Ham fan?
According to the Premier League, Knightley revealed her support in a 2014 interview with US chat-show host Seth Meyers, whom the league describes as another Hammers supporter. The feature reproduces her joke that West Ham “lose all the time” and that the club anthem “is about not about winning and in fact your dreams fading and dying the whole time.”

How much detail does the Premier League give about the other four?
In its West Ham section, the Premier League provides an interview and quoted remark for Knightley, but simply names Dyer, Corden, Wood and Winstone as other famous fans. It does not give comparable supporting detail for those four there, so the list is best treated as the league’s editorial selection rather than a ranking or exhaustive census.

West Ham United Foundation’s ambassadors page identifies presenter Bobby Seagull as a lifelong West Ham fan and a Foundation ambassador. He is additional context, not one of the five names selected from the Premier League feature.
