In October 2025, The Guardian reported that Dan Bernad cited household expenses of more than US$400,000 a month in court documents. The report described private jets, vacations, high-end dining and several full-time staff as part of the claimed lifestyle. The figure is Bernad’s account, not an independently audited monthly budget or a verified measure of Sia’s individual spending.

Private jets were among the expenses cited in the filing, according to The Guardian. The report does not establish how often Sia traveled by private jet, who paid for particular trips, or whether this reflects her current travel habits.
2. Vacations
Vacations were also included in Bernad’s claimed household costs. The reporting does not provide an itemized vacation budget or identify specific trips, so it cannot support a precise figure for this category.

3. High-end dining
The Guardian’s account of the filing includes high-end dining within the reported household total. It does not break out restaurant spending separately; the more-than-US$400,000 monthly figure should not be treated as a dining bill or as Sia’s confirmed personal outlay.
4. Household staff
The report also described several full-time staff as part of the claimed lifestyle. It did not verify a staff count or establish what Sia currently spends on household help.

What the catalog sale does—and does not—say
In September 2026, TMZ reported, citing documents it said it obtained, that Sia sold a 50% interest in her catalog to Pophouse for US$180 million. Music Business Worldwide reported that Pophouse confirmed acquiring a 50% stake in publishing and master music rights, but its account of the official announcement did not state a price. The reported US$180 million is therefore TMZ’s account of the deal terms, not a price stated in the announcement described by Music Business Worldwide.
A catalog sale is a financial transaction involving music rights; it is not a spending category. TMZ also reported that US$165 million was associated with songs from before the marriage, that US$1 million was reportedly paid to Bernad in exchange for waiving claims to that amount, and that US$15 million connected to songs created during the marriage was held in escrow. The available reporting does not establish how that escrow was ultimately resolved.

Household spending is different from spousal support
The Guardian separately reported that Bernad requested more than US$250,000 per month in spousal support. That was a request, not necessarily an amount awarded. It should not be added to the alleged monthly household expenses as though both figures were confirmed payments by Sia.
How to read Sia’s reported net worth
Celebrity Net Worth estimated Sia’s net worth at US$350 million in 2026. This is a third-party estimate, not a financial disclosure by Sia or an audited accounting. It also cannot be used to verify the court-filing claims or establish how much she spends.

What can responsibly be concluded
Available reports point to four categories in a former spouse’s claimed household budget: private jets, vacations, high-end dining and staff. They do not verify Sia’s personal spending in each category or establish a current monthly budget.
