Michael B. Jordan has the clearest, documented connection to AFC Bournemouth: he is a minority co-owner and has helped with club projects. The claims about Seth Rogen and Blur bassist Alex James are less substantial. As for seeing them at a match, the evidence is uneven: one Bournemouth supporter recalls sitting near James, while the material available does not establish a specific match appearance for Jordan or Rogen.
Michael B. Jordan: a documented club role, not an attendance record
The Premier League identifies actor Michael B. Jordan as a Bournemouth minority co-owner since 2022. It also reports that he helped design a special-edition kit for the club’s 2024 California pre-season tour. Those are concrete signs of involvement beyond simply saying he likes the team, though they do not establish how often he attends matches. The Premier League’s 16 March 2026 feature quotes Jordan saying, “I saw a team with a lot of potential and a lot of growth and I love their story,” and, “I love the team’s history so it is great to be able to be a part of that new storytelling.”
What the evidence says: Jordan has a meaningful connection to the club. The feature does not give a specific match date or attendance pattern, so ownership and club work should not be presented as proof that he is a regular in the stands.
Seth Rogen: a chance pick on Soccer AM
Rogen’s Bournemouth story reportedly began with a draw from a bag containing 92 clubs on Soccer AM. After drawing Bournemouth, he said, “I have heard they’re awesome,” according to a 2019 report by Fox Sports Australia, credited to The Sun and Fox Sports staff writers. The report does not provide a direct recording of the exchange. Fox Sports Australia’s account presents it as a lighthearted selection, not a longstanding allegiance.

FourFourTwo also questions whether Rogen is actually a Bournemouth fan. Its roundup treats the story cautiously. No specific Rogen match appearance is established by the material available here, so the anecdote is best understood as an amusing club connection rather than evidence of regular support.
Alex James: a reported declaration and one supporter’s recollection
FourFourTwo reports that Blur bassist Alex James said he was a Bournemouth fan on Soccer AM. That is secondary reporting, rather than a direct quotation or clip in the available material. A Bournemouth forum participant separately recalled that James “used to sit next to me&my pals in the East Stand a few years ago.” FourFourTwo’s account and the forum post therefore offer two different kinds of evidence: a reported statement and an individual supporter’s anecdote.

- Soccer Jersey design. Bournemouth Jersey inspired shirt for men, women, adult, youth, boys, girls, kids, and all ages
- Retro Bournemouth gift for true fans
- Lightweight, Classic fit, Double-needle sleeve and bottom hem
The recollection is suggestive, but it is not an independently verified match record. It supports saying James has reportedly been seen at games by a supporter; it does not establish how often he attended.

| Celebrity | What is established | What the available evidence says about attendance |
|---|---|---|
| Michael B. Jordan | Minority co-owner since 2022; helped design a special-edition kit for the 2024 California pre-season tour. | The cited Premier League feature gives no specific match date or attendance pattern. |
| Seth Rogen | Reportedly drew Bournemouth during a Soccer AM segment and said he had heard they were awesome. | No specific match appearance is documented in the material available here. |
| Alex James | Reported by FourFourTwo to have said he supported Bournemouth on Soccer AM. | One forum participant recalls seeing him in the East Stand; that anecdote is not independently verified. |
So the answer depends on what “support” means. Jordan’s strongest evidence is his ownership and club involvement. James has a reported declaration and a supporter’s claimed sighting. Rogen’s connection rests on a chance pick and a jokingly positive reaction. None of those accounts, on its own, proves that all three are lifelong or regular matchgoers.
