BGR’s three featured picks
BGR singled out one contemporary horror film, one classic thriller and an animated series. These descriptions reflect the roundup’s coverage at publication time, not a current availability check.
Barbarian for horror
BGR describes Zach Cregger’s 2022 horror film as starring Georgina Campbell as Tess and Bill Skarsgård as Keith. The setup brings two people to the same Detroit Airbnb; Tess then discovers a secret in its basement.

The Birds for a classic thriller
BGR highlights this horror thriller for its premise of inexplicable bird attacks. It is the roundup’s classic-film pick for viewers drawn to suspense and unsettling events.
Pokémon the Series: XY for an animated adventure
BGR described Ash Ketchum’s journey through the Kalos region and the introduction of Mega Evolution. The article said all 140 episodes were streaming when it was published on June 2, 2025; that episode count and availability are publication-time claims, not confirmation of today’s catalog.

What “now streaming” means here
The phrase refers to the titles BGR reported as arriving on June 1, 2025, rather than a live Netflix catalog. Streaming libraries can differ by country and change over time, and the roundup does not identify the territory behind its full list. Check Netflix in your region for current availability before planning a watch.
