Annette Davis Carter was married to Donnel Jeffrey “Jeff” Carter, one of Jimmy Carter’s sons. The Citizen’s obituary lists Annette’s birth date as November 5, 1952, and says she and Jeff married on April 6, 1975. The Carter family’s page also identifies Jeff as Jimmy Carter’s son and Annette Jene Davis as Jeff’s wife.

How her family remembered her
Annette’s son Josh Carter wrote an online obituary shared by the family’s church in Plains, Georgia, according to the AP. In it, he reflected on his brother Jeremy, who died in 2015: “Jeremy was a loss that never healed until her passing,” Josh Carter said.
