Cole Brings Plenty, a 27-year-old actor who appeared in the first season of 1923, was found dead in Johnson County, Kansas, on April 5, 2024, after his family reported him missing. The sheriff said there was no indication of foul play, but authorities did not publicly disclose a cause of death in the cited reporting. Separately, police had identified Brings Plenty as a suspect in an arrest investigation following a reported March 31 incident; that was an allegation, not a conviction.
