What popularity charts can—and cannot—tell you
A chart records attention during a particular window; it does not settle which series is best or still culturally relevant. For example, BGR reported a Reelgood chart for the seven days ending July 17, 2024, with The Bear at No. 1, Presumed Innocent at No. 2 and Sunny at No. 3. For a current but narrower signal, Netflix’s official Top 10 page lets readers check rankings and title histories by country. A Tom’s Guide report dated October 6, 2026 used Netflix’s US Top 10 from that Tuesday and named East of Eden the latest No. 1.
