There is no verified public account establishing how Amanda Halterman is healing from her breakup. A January 2025 report said her relationship with RJ had ended in May 2024. Separately, Us Weekly reported in March 2025 that Amanda had lost more than 300 pounds after bariatric surgery in March 2023. That figure is an outlet-reported, dated claim—not a current or independently verified measurement.
What has been reported about Amanda’s breakup?
A January 3, 2025, Yahoo Entertainment report said Amanda had disclosed that her relationship with RJ ended in May 2024. The report does not establish the circumstances of the breakup, and the available coverage does not provide a verified first-person account from Amanda about her emotional recovery. Read the Yahoo Entertainment report.
That distinction matters: the breakup timing has been reported, but describing Amanda as “healed” or saying the breakup was devastating to her would go beyond what the cited coverage establishes. Current relationship status is likewise not confirmed by these reports.
What is known about her weight-loss journey?
Us Weekly reported on March 20, 2025, that Amanda underwent bariatric surgery in March 2023 and had lost more than 300 pounds. Those are the outlet’s reported details; they are not an independently verified current weight or medical outcome. Read the Us Weekly report.

What her public posts do—and don’t—say about healing
In a January 10, 2025, report, E! reproduced a supportive message Amanda posted to her sister Tammy: “We are so proud of you sis.” The message was encouragement for Tammy’s weight-loss journey, not a statement about Amanda’s breakup or her own emotional recovery. Read E!’s report.

Because no verified, dated statement in the cited coverage describes Amanda’s feelings about the split, it is not possible to say from these reports how she is coping. Her weight-loss journey and the end of her relationship are separate parts of her public story; the available sources do not show that one caused the other.
