9. Private yacht-and-helicopter experience |

How to compare these prices fairly
A headline price alone can be misleading: a per-seat flight and a private group package use different pricing units, while attraction tickets may have date-specific prices or added charges. Before you book, compare:
- Total cost: Check fees, ticket charges, taxes, and any required extras in the checkout or written quote.
- Price basis: Establish whether the quoted amount is per person, per seat, or for the entire group. A group price may be shared among several travelers, but the group size and terms matter.
- What you receive: Separate admission from extras such as a guide, priority access, photos, a beverage, or private transport. Confirm package inclusions rather than assuming them from a label like “VIP.”
- Time and access: Compare the advertised flight duration or tour format, and ask what access is actually provided. A premium ticket is worthwhile only if its specific extras suit your plans.
- Schedule and risk: Check date availability, rescheduling, cancellation, and—especially for flights—weather policies before paying.
Which kind of splurge fits your trip?
For a skyline view with added access
Compare the observation-deck options by the experience attached to the ticket, not just the height or starting price. The Empire State Building lists multiple premium tiers, while Top of the Rock’s VIP description names guided access and additional features. Edge’s announced tour is another guided option, but its current availability and terms should be confirmed.
#1 Best Overall
For a flight
FlyNYON lists two doors-off durations at per-seat prices, both before fees. Choose by your preferred flight length and verified final price rather than treating the starting prices as all-in totals.
For a private outing or performance
The yacht-and-helicopter listing is a group-priced package, while the Broadway VIP price is per person. For either, request a detailed itinerary or package description and a final quote; the advertised starting amount alone does not reveal all inclusions or terms.
