This ranking treats “non-canon” as a practical label for forms from Dragon Ball GT and promotional or game material, rather than a claim that every appearance shares the same continuity status. The order is editorial judgment, weighing design distinctiveness, story impact and how clearly a transformation changes a fight—not an official ranking or measured fan consensus.
How this ranking works
GT transformations and forms made for Super Dragon Ball Heroes occupy different franchise contexts. Their power levels cannot be compared on a single reliable scale, so the ranking favors memorable designs and demonstrated story function over claims that one form is objectively stronger across continuities. Official Dragon Ball coverage helps establish the origins and examples below, but does not publish a comparative top ten.
The 10 best non-canon Super Saiyan forms
1. Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta
GT’s fusion of Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta has the clearest story-backed case for the top spot. The official Dragon Ball showcase describes Gogeta as having power “far surpassing” either fighter individually, and recounts how he takes control of the battle against Yi-Shinron with attacks too fast for the enemy to see. The fusion combines SS4’s distinctive look with the dramatic shift of two rivals becoming one fighter. The showcase identifies him specifically as a character from Dragon Ball GT, not as a franchise-wide continuity statement: Dragon Ball Official Site: Gogeta (Super Saiyan 4) from Dragon Ball GT.
2. Super Saiyan 4
SS4 is the defining transformation of GT’s branch of the franchise: its design departs sharply from the golden-haired Super Saiyan look, and its Great Ape imagery gives the form a visual identity tied to Saiyan origins. The official Dragon Ball site also describes a GT Goku card sequence in which he becomes a Great Ape and then transforms into SS4, underlining that connection: Dragon Ball Official Site: Ultra God Mission #9.

3. Super Full-Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker Goku: Xeno
This is a Heroes-specific extension of the SS4 idea, associated with Goku: Xeno rather than simply being another GT Goku transformation. Super Dragon Ball Heroes merchandise coverage names Xeno characters in Super Full-Power Saiyan 4 Limit Break forms, while the 2023 Dokkan Battle collaboration also lists Limit Breaker characters. Its appeal is the combination of the recognizable SS4 silhouette with an overtly heightened promotional-game variant. The official sources establish the form’s Heroes context, not a universal continuity or power ranking: 2021 Heroes merchandise coverage and 2023 Dokkan Battle Heroes crossover.
4. Super Full-Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker Vegito: Xeno
Heroes applies the Limit Break treatment to Vegito: Xeno as well as Goku: Xeno. That gives the form a different character hook from Goku’s entry: it places the variant on a fusion warrior in Heroes’ expanded cast. The official material names this character and form among Heroes-related collectibles and crossover characters; it does not establish a direct comparison with GT’s Gogeta or other continuities. The 2021 merchandise feature and the 2023 crossover coverage document the Heroes context.
5. Broly (Super Saiyan 4)
Heroes’ SS4 Broly is a crossover-style reimagining of the character, not a GT event. The official site names Broly (Super Saiyan 4) in its coverage of Super Dragon Ball Heroes merchandise. The form earns a place for the visual collision between Broly’s imposing presence and SS4’s fur-and-tail design language; that is a design judgment, not a claim about his power relative to characters from other continuities. Dragon Ball Official Site: Super Dragon Ball Heroes 3rd MISSION merchandise.
6. Super Full-Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker Gogeta: Xeno
The Heroes Limit Break roster extends the SS4 fusion concept to Gogeta: Xeno. It is a useful contrast with GT’s SS4 Gogeta: the names suggest a related visual and character idea, but these are separate versions from separate franchise contexts. Official Heroes coverage identifies the Limit Break characters as part of its promotional and game-related material; it does not make them interchangeable with GT’s Gogeta. The 2023 Dokkan Battle collaboration lists Super Full-Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker characters.

7. Super Saiyan Rosé 3
Crimson Masked Saiyan’s Super Saiyan Rosé 3 form shows that Heroes’ alternate transformations are not confined to the SS4 branch. The 2023 official Dokkan Battle collaboration names Crimson Masked Saiyan (Super Saiyan Rosé 3) among its Heroes crossover characters. Its rose-colored, heightened Saiyan concept makes it one of the roster’s most striking departures, though the cited coverage establishes its appearance in the collaboration rather than a detailed transformation history. Dragon Ball Official Site: Dokkan Battle Heroes crossover.
8. Super Full-Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker Bardock: Xeno
Bardock: Xeno is another named character in Heroes’ Super Full-Power Saiyan 4 Limit Break group. The attraction is partly the unusual pairing: Bardock, a character associated with the Saiyan past, appears in an amplified SS4 variant within Heroes’ alternate-character lineup. The official coverage supports the character and form’s Heroes context, but does not provide a battle narrative to weigh against GT’s on-screen stakes. The 2023 Dokkan Battle crossover documents the Limit Breaker roster.
9. Super Full-Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker Gohan: Xeno
Heroes also includes Gohan: Xeno among its Limit Break SS4 characters. It broadens the roster beyond its usual focus on Goku and fusion warriors, giving fans an alternate Gohan concept in the franchise’s game-linked cast. The source supports the form’s inclusion in Heroes-related coverage; it does not establish a standalone canonical story arc or cross-continuity strength comparison. Dragon Ball Official Site: Dokkan Battle Heroes crossover.
10. Super Full-Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker Gotenks: Xeno
Gotenks: Xeno rounds out the Heroes examples with another fusion-based entry. Its place here reflects the variety of characters brought into the Limit Break SS4 family, rather than a claim that it has more story impact than the forms above. The official 2023 crossover source names Limit Breaker characters within the Heroes collaboration, a promotional/game setting distinct from GT’s story. What “non-canon” means here
Here, “non-canon” is shorthand for the specific GT and Heroes contexts represented in the list. The official site explicitly labels SS4 Gogeta as “from Dragon Ball GT,” while its Heroes coverage identifies Xeno characters, crossover appearances and Limit Break variants. That evidence supports distinguishing the origins of these versions; it does not justify treating all franchise material as though it had one uniform continuity status.
Why SS4 Gogeta ranks above the Heroes variants
SS4 Gogeta stands out because the official GT character feature connects the transformation directly to a decisive confrontation: he is formed from SS4 Goku and Vegeta and immediately overwhelms Yi-Shinron. Heroes contributes a broader catalog of eye-catching alternatives, but the cited merchandise and crossover pages primarily establish character and product appearances rather than comparable story feats. The ranking therefore places narrative impact alongside design, rather than pretending that game and GT power scales can be measured together.
