The event is now a past event, so the “set to return” framing of the original headline describes the pre-show announcement rather than a future date. The remarks Paul made at the press conference drew the most attention, and they were heel-style provocation aimed at the host city, not a travel or commitment statement.
The event: date, venue and announcement
WWE announced Elimination Chamber: Perth on 21 September 2023, together with the Western Australian Government through Tourism Western Australia. The show was scheduled for Optus Stadium on 24 February 2024 and was billed as a globally televised Premium Live Event. WWE described it as its first event in Australia since 2018 and, at the time of the announcement, the only Asia-Pacific Premium Live Event on its 2024 calendar.

Logan Paul’s place in the lineup
The Western Australian Government’s update of 15 December 2023 named Logan Paul, identified as the US Champion, among the WWE talent confirmed to travel to Perth. That update is the source for his inclusion; it was an announcement of who was coming, not a record of what he did on the night.
The press conference: what Paul said
Fox Sports reported on the press conference held ahead of the show, quoting Paul as saying: “So it’s WWE’s first time coming to Perth and I’m going to personally make sure it’s the last,” and “This place sucks guys.” Fox Sports also reported that he mocked Perth’s distance from other cities and its tourist attractions.

The “I’m coming back Australia” headline
The phrase used in the title does not appear in the reporting reviewed for this article. It should not be read as a verified Paul quote. The quotations above are the attributed remarks that can be checked against the Fox Sports report.

How to read the remarks
Wrestling promotions use provocation at press conferences to build rivalries and generate ticket interest, and the Perth remarks fit that pattern. The sentence about making sure the visit is “the last” is a character line delivered for the show’s storyline and crowd reaction. Treat it as entertainment framing, not as a forecast of WWE’s schedule.

Attendance and viewership records
In a 2 May 2025 announcement, WWE Corporate said the 2024 Perth show was, at the time, the most-attended and highest-viewed Elimination Chamber event in company history. This is a relative company claim. WWE has not published an attendance or viewership count that lets readers verify the size of the record, and no independent audited count was found in the reporting used here.

Visitor and economic figures
The Western Australian Government reported in an announcement dated 27 August 2026 that the 2024 event drew more than 18,000 out-of-state visitors. This is a retrospective government figure, and it counts visitors from outside the state rather than total attendance at the stadium.
WWE Corporate, in a 2026 statement, put the combined economic contribution of the 2024 Elimination Chamber and the 2025 Crown Jewel events in Perth at more than AUD $58 million. That number covers both events together and should not be attributed to 2024 alone.

What is and is not established
- Established: the date, venue, announcement partners, Paul’s inclusion in the announced lineup, and the wording of the quoted press-conference remarks as reported by Fox Sports.
- Established as claims by the named publisher: the at-the-time attendance and viewership record, the 18,000-plus out-of-state visitors, and the combined AUD $58 million figure.
- Not established: the exact title phrase as a Paul quote, a total attendance number, and any audited viewership figure for the 2024 show.
For readers looking for the event itself, the reliable sequence is the September 2023 announcement, the December 2023 lineup update, and the press-conference coverage from February 2024, followed by the later retrospective claims.
