No verified ranking of the 15 actors with the most Razzie wins can be published from the official records as they stand. The Golden Raspberry Awards, which the public knows as the Razzies, publish their results year by year, and no consolidated all-time tally of actor wins was available from the official archive as of October 2026. A “most wins” list is only as good as the rule used to count, and that rule is where most circulating lists go wrong. This article explains the choices any honest count has to make, shows how to build one from the annual announcements, and identifies which numbers you can already rely on.
What the Razzies record, and why that matters for a tally
The Golden Raspberry Awards are a satirical film awards organization that honors the worst in film each year. Every ceremony produces a set of annual winner announcements, and those announcements are the underlying record for any historical count. A total of wins is therefore a sum of individual annual entries, not a figure the organization publishes on its own.
That structure has a practical consequence. Anyone claiming that a particular performer has won the most Razzies is making a claim about a sum they had to compute. If the computation is not shown, the claim cannot be checked.
Why “most wins” depends on the counting rule
The archive includes several kinds of categories, and they do not all name individual people in the same way. Before any totals are compared, the rule has to settle which categories count. The table below sets out the main choices and how each one changes the result.

| Counting option | What it includes | Effect on totals |
|---|---|---|
| Individual performance categories only | Only awards given to a single named performer for acting work | Narrowest count; favors performers who won in lead or solo categories |
| All individually named performer awards | Adds other individually named categories, such as New Star or supporting categories, where a single person is credited | Raises totals for performers who won in more than one category type |
| Shared Screen Couple or Combo awards | Each performer named on a shared award | Gives co-stars credit for a joint win; increases the number of ties |
| Ensemble awards | Group awards where several named performers share one honor | Depends on whether each named performer is counted; can change order substantially |
| Career or special awards | Career achievement and special citations | Can lift performers with long careers; these awards are not performance awards and may be excluded by a narrower rule |
| Film-level awards | Awards given to a picture with no individual credited | Should not count toward an actor total at all |
A ranking that does not state its choice on each of these rows is not a ranking. It is a list whose logic the reader cannot reconstruct.
A method that can be reproduced
If you want to build a count yourself, the following method is simple and can be repeated by anyone with access to the official annual results. It uses one credit per named performer per award category, including shared awards, and excludes film-level awards where no individual is named.
Rank #2
- Set a cutoff date. State the last ceremony year included. Totals change each year a new ceremony is added, so a list without a cutoff is out of date the moment it is published.
- Define “actor.” Decide whether the count includes only performance categories, or every category where a performer is individually named. Write the decision down.
- Decide how shared awards count. The simplest reproducible rule gives each named performer one credit per category. State that rule so readers can see why a co-star’s total differs from a solo winner’s.
- Build the totals from the official annual announcements. Go year by year, not from secondary lists, and record each named performer and category.
- Sort in descending order and show ties. Where two performers have the same total, list them together rather than forcing a unique order by an arbitrary tiebreak.
Person totals and film totals are different numbers
The official archive sometimes reports “wins per picture,” which counts how many awards a film received. That figure describes a movie, not a performer. A film with several Razzies can have a large total that tells you nothing about any single actor in it, and a performer’s name may appear across several films with modest totals each. Keep the two measures separate in any table or claim.
Why a circulating list is not enough
A search on the exact title of this topic returned a list with inconsistent counts for different performers, and its later sections included placeholder language rather than verifiable detail. Its numbers should not be quoted as fact.

The claim has not been checked against the annual announcements under any stated counting rule, and a repost from that year cannot stand in for a current, auditable tally. This article does not adopt that figure.
What the official records do establish
Several details from the official archive can be cited directly, provided they are attributed to the specific announcement they come from:
Rank #4
- For the 45th awards, the official announcement reports that 1,217 members from 49 U.S. states and about two dozen foreign countries cast ballots. Those figures describe that ceremony’s voting body, not every year’s.
- In the same announcement, the Redeemer award was decided by the Board of Governors rather than by the membership ballot.
- The archive includes results for the 46th awards, held for 2025. Those results include Ice Cube as Worst Actor for that year. A single year’s winner does not establish anything about all-time totals.
How to check any “most Razzies” claim
- Does the claim state a cutoff year? If not, it cannot be updated or verified.
- Does it state which categories count, and how shared or career awards are treated?
- Does it cite annual announcements, or only other lists?
- Are film-level wins mixed into the performer total?
- Are ties shown, or is an order forced without explanation?
A claim that fails two or more of these checks should be treated as unverified, whatever its headline says.
If you need a current figure for a specific performer, start with the official archive’s annual pages, apply the counting rule above, and state your cutoff. Until a complete reconciliation under a defined rule is published, any all-time ranking of individual actors is an estimate built on sources of uneven reliability.
