Praise for the cast and ensemble
One commenter said they loved the cast and the ensemble. Another wrote, “I don’t know why I picked this show but no regrets.” That phrasing captures the casual, comfort-watch tone that runs through much of the praise, but it is one person’s remark, not a trend.
Criticism of the portrayal of Jewish women

X: a post quoted by BGR
The most positive reaction attributed to X in the available coverage is a line BGR quoted from a post: “Nobody Wants This is the best show I’ve watched on Netflix in years.” BGR attributes it to an X user but does not name that user or link to the original post. Read it as BGR’s quotation of a post from its 2024 coverage, not as an independently checked quotation from X.
YouTube: trailer comments
BGR’s 2024 article refers to comments under the series trailer on YouTube, which it presents as part of the early discussion. It also gives a figure of more than 4 million for YouTube, but the reporting does not make clear whether that number counts views of the trailer or comments. Treat it as a 2024 figure that BGR reported, not as a current count or a measure of how positive the response was.

Netflix Tudum’s season 2 coverage quotes Erin Foster on how viewers reacted after release: “The incredible cast, crew, producers, and executives all made this into the show it is today, and to experience viewers’ reactions to this series now that it’s out in the world has been more than anything I could have dreamed.” Her remark describes her own experience of the response. It is not a measured survey of viewers, and it does not establish consensus.
