The “45 winners” count is out of date: current winner roundups extend through Survivor season 50. The count also depends on what you mean by “winners”: a returning player can win more than once, so winning seasons and distinct champion contestants are not the same tally. Recent reporting describes former champions’ paths into careers including public service, healthcare, business, education and entertainment—but those updates should be read as snapshots, not a verified live census.
What does “all the winners” mean now?
TV Insider’s winner roundup and Us Weekly’s winner history both extend through season 50, making a headline limited to 45 winners historical rather than current. Because some contestants have won multiple seasons, the season count should not be presented as a count of unique people. The two roundups are useful guides to reported updates, but the material available here does not establish a fully verified, person-by-person census of every champion.

That distinction matters for a “where are they now?” article: a season roster counts victories, while a people roster counts each individual once. Neither should silently stand in for the other.
What are some former champions doing after the show?

Why the updates need a date
“Now” is a moving target. Occupations, public projects and personal circumstances can change, and the roundups are secondary reporting rather than a definitive current census. The profile descriptions available for this article do not establish a publication date for each individual update, so they should not be treated as confirmation of a person’s status on a particular day. TV Insider and Us Weekly are the named sources for the examples above; neither provides a basis here for inferring private details about champions who are not mentioned.

Paramount Press Express’s release on the season 50 finale reports that the winner received a Toyota Land Cruiser and that Cirie Fields received a $100,000 Sia Fan Favorite award. It also says Sia had personally awarded more than $1 million to players since 2016. Those are finale and prize details, not evidence about the winner’s longer-term life or a statistic about all Survivor champions.
