Usher added 2024 dates to his Past Present Future North American tour, with official venue and promoter announcements confirming performances in Detroit on September 13, Miami on October 14 and Las Vegas on November 15. Those shows have passed; the old ticket-sale notices are historical and do not indicate current availability.
Which dates were added?
Venue and promoter announcements verified these three additions. The announcements were published in February 2024 for Detroit and Las Vegas; the Kaseya Center identified October 14 as a third Miami performance alongside October 11 and 12.
| Date | City and venue | Announcement detail |
|---|---|---|
| September 13, 2024 | Detroit, Little Caesars Arena | 313 Presents announced a second Detroit show on February 8, 2024. 313 Presents announcement |
| October 14, 2024 | Miami, Kaseya Center | The venue announced a third show, in addition to October 11 and 12. Kaseya Center announcement |
| November 15, 2024 | Las Vegas, T-Mobile Arena | MGM Resorts announced the added Friday performance on February 12, 2024. MGM Resorts announcement |
Why did Usher add shows?
MGM Resorts said the tour was extended to more cities “Due to incredible fan demand.” 313 Presents also cited fan demand when announcing the second Detroit performance. This was the promoters’ stated explanation, not a quantified measure of ticket sales or a direct quote from Usher.
How the additions fit the tour
Oakland Arena described the initial announcement, posted February 6, 2024, as a 24-city North American tour, with more dates around the globe to come. The United Center framed the show as a celebration of Usher’s 30-year career, with songs from Coming Home.

Other venue listings provide schedule context but do not, by themselves, prove that a date was newly added. Target Center listed a November 2, 2024 performance. The United Center listed Chicago shows on October 28, 29 and 31. The available venue announcements do not form one complete revised itinerary of every added date.

At the time of the announcements, MGM Resorts said a Citi presale would precede the general sale through AXS, scheduled for February 16, 2024, at 10 a.m. Pacific time. 313 Presents described presales, a general on-sale and VIP packages for Detroit. These notices describe the original sales, not current inventory, prices, resale validity or ticket availability.
