Tracker returned for the 2025 part of its second season on Sunday, February 16, 2025, with Episode 9, “The Disciple.” CBS’s Season 2 guide lists the remaining episodes through Episode 20, “Echo Ridge,” which is dated May 11, 2025. Those are the dates this article follows, and the rest of this page explains the schedule, a conflicting listing you may encounter, and what the finale was set up to do.
The 2025 return date
Season 2 began in the fall of 2024. CBS’s guide records Episodes 1 through 8 airing from October 13 through December 1, 2024. The series then paused and came back on February 16, 2025 with Episode 9. Any article that says the show “returned in 2025” is referring to that February date.

The table below uses CBS’s Season 2 episode guide as the authority. CBS’s own Episode 20 page gives “Echo Ridge” the same May 11, 2025 air date, so the endpoint is confirmed on both pages.

That is 12 episodes from the return through the finale. Episode 15 (“The Grey Goose”) is followed by a gap until April 13, which is the largest break after the February return.

Why you may see different dates
A separate Paramount Press Express listing also covers the season, but its dates conflict with CBS’s guide for several episodes, including “The Disciple,” “The Night Movers,” and “Memories.” The listing does not explain the difference, so there is no way to tell from it which date is correct. For that reason, this article uses CBS’s guide throughout. If a schedule you find disagrees with CBS on a specific episode, check the CBS episode page for that title before relying on the date.
The March 16 double listing
CBS’s guide lists both Episode 12, “Monster,” and Episode 13, “Neptune,” on March 16, 2025. That is how CBS presents them, and it is the one place in the guide where two episodes share a date. Treat it as a listed fact rather than a typo you can safely fix; no source reviewed here corrects it.

The finale: what Justin Hartley said
CBS News published an interview with Justin Hartley, who plays Colter Shaw, on May 9, 2025, two days before “Echo Ridge” was scheduled. Hartley previewed a major revelation about the mystery surrounding Colter’s father. He said:
- “We drop a bomb,”
- “It opens up a Pandora’s box but it also tells a story, so it’s very, very satisfying, which is great.”
CBS describes the show as following Colter Shaw, a skilled tracker and survivalist who searches for missing people and collects rewards. The interview is the main public source for what the finale was expected to do; it does not spell out the revelation itself.

Where to watch in the United States
CBS’s Episode 20 page states that viewers in the United States must be Paramount+ subscribers to stream “Echo Ridge.” The same page is the only streaming-access statement this article relies on, so it does not establish terms for other episodes or for viewers outside the U.S.
