Almost Paradise had no confirmed Season 3 order in the latest directly relevant comments available here. Executive producer Dean Devlin said the team was shopping the series to potential new outlets and hoped to find it a home; that was an expression of hope, not a renewal announcement.
What Dean Devlin said about Almost Paradise
In an interview with TV Insider, Devlin said, “We are currently shopping it around.” He added that the team did not have a home for the show and hoped to find one in the next few months. He also described it as “a very unusual situation,” saying it might be the most popular show he had ever made despite lacking a home at that moment.
That last remark is Devlin’s personal assessment, not a reported audience measurement. The interview’s comments describe an effort to find a new outlet; they do not confirm that a buyer was found, that production would resume, or that a third season was ordered.
Why the series needed another outlet
TVLine reported on April 4, 2025, that Almost Paradise had been canceled after two seasons as Freevee ended. The report quoted Devlin saying, “We’re looking for a new home.” The show’s release history crossed two outlets: Season 1 debuted on WGN America in 2020, and Season 2 arrived on Freevee in July 2023.

In this context, “shopping” means seeking another outlet for the series. It is not the same as a network or streaming service agreeing to make or distribute Season 3.
When are we getting another season of Almost Paradise?
Devlin gave no confirmed return date. His hope that the team would find a home in the next few months was not a scheduled premiere window, and the cited reports do not establish whether the search later succeeded. The latest directly relevant reported comments available here are from 2025, so they should not be treated as a verified statement of the show’s status in 2026. A newer official announcement would be needed to confirm a new outlet or Season 3 order.

What the series is about
Christian Kane stars as Alex Walker, a former U.S. DEA agent who relocates to the Philippines. The series follows him as he becomes caught up in dangerous situations alongside local police friends. The Television Academy’s 2020 description provides background on the character and show, but its note that the series was then available to purchase on Amazon does not establish present-day availability or a physical release.
