In a TV Insider report, Karine’s March 15, 2025 GoFundMe statement was described as saying that the boys were then in the custody of Paul’s cousin. The fundraiser page was not independently available for review, so this is best understood as a statement attributed to Karine, not independently verified placement information. TV Insider’s report says it remains unclear whether either parent has custody today.

What the divorce update does—and does not—establish
TMZ reported, citing court documents it obtained, that Paul and Karine’s divorce was finalized on April 13, 2026, after Karine filed in February 2026. TMZ’s divorce report does not say that the divorce judgment changed custody or the boys’ placement. Divorce finalization alone is not evidence of who currently cares for them.
