Disney’s 2025 live-action Snow White earned $87,203,963 domestically and ranked 18th on Box Office Mojo’s calendar-year 2025 chart, which counts grosses earned during that year. The ranking is a chart result, not an official industry designation; other charts use different methods and show a different position.
How much did the 2025 Snow White make domestically?
Box Office Mojo lists the film’s domestic gross at $87,203,963 on its 2025 calendar-year domestic chart. That chart ranks movies by money earned during 2025, rather than grouping films solely by the year they were released.

The Numbers reports the same domestic total in its box-office history for the film. “Domestic” here is the territory label used by the cited box-office charts; it is not a worldwide total.
Why does another chart give Snow White a different rank?
Box Office Mojo’s chart for 2025 wide releases, organized by release year, places the film 25th, while its calendar-year chart places it 18th. Both charts list $87,203,963, but they are answering different questions: the calendar chart counts earnings during 2025, while the release-year chart groups titles released in 2025.

- Experience this musical, live-action reimagining of Walt Disney?s groundbreaking animated classic. Follow Snow White?s adventure as she journeys into magical woods to escape the Evil Queen and meets the beloved Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Happy, Dopey, Grumpy and Doc who join her quest to restore the kingdom.
The distinction matters because a release-year ranking can count a movie’s cumulative North American earnings across the years it played. The Numbers explicitly describes its 2025 release-year chart as ranking total cumulative North American earnings for films released in 2025, including earnings from other years. A calendar-year ranking can include movies released before 2025 if they earned money during that year.
What was the film’s worldwide gross and opening weekend?
The Numbers lists a worldwide gross of $205,679,463 and a domestic opening weekend of $42,206,415 in its film box-office history. The worldwide figure covers a broader territory than domestic gross, so it should not be used as a domestic ranking total.

On March 23, 2025, the Associated Press reported an estimated domestic opening of about $43 million, based on studio estimates available that Sunday. That contemporaneous estimate differs from The Numbers’ later opening-weekend figure; an opening estimate and a subsequently reported total are not interchangeable. The AP also identified the 2025 movie as Disney’s live-action Snow White and noted that the 1937 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was the company’s first animated feature. The 18th-place result is attributable to Box Office Mojo’s 2025 calendar-year domestic chart. It is not an official designation announced by Disney or an industry certification. The Numbers separately reports a production budget of $269,400,000, but that figure is a reported production budget, not a complete cost measure; these figures alone do not establish profitability.
