Pretty Little Liars: Summer School debuted on Max on May 9, 2024, with its first two episodes. New episodes then arrived weekly through the season finale on June 20, 2024. Who created the season?
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring are credited as the season’s creators, writers, and executive producers. The production was made by Aguirre-Sacasa’s Muckle Man Productions and Alloy Entertainment, in association with Warner Bros. Television. Other executive producers named by Warner Bros. Discovery are Alloy’s Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo, Marlene King, who developed the original Pretty Little Liars series, and Michael Grassi.

Max confirmed in September 2024 that the series would not return for a third season. TheWrap reported the decision on September 20, 2024, quoting Max’s statement: “Their unique and modern creative vision — combined with the immense talent of our cast and crew — gave the series a fun, horror-filled point of view that paid tribute to its original Rosewood roots.” The statement was attributed to Max, not to a named individual.
