What happened with each couple?
Sabrina and Steven
Sabrina and Steven married in the finale, but their relationship ended less than a year later, and they were pursuing an annulment by Netflix’s November 2025 update. Steven attributed the split to long distance, work pressures, different communication styles, and differing expectations. He said, “We just weren’t compatible. We had different communication styles and expectations of each other, particularly when under pressure.” Sabrina described the effort and travel as one-sided. These are each person’s account of the breakup, not a shared explanation.

Jasmine and Bobby
Jasmine and Bobby married and were still married in Netflix’s November 2025 update. Netflix also reported that they had moved into their own apartment and welcomed their son, Marley, in December 2025.
Nicole and Benaiah
Nicole and Benaiah married and were still happily married in Netflix’s November 2025 account. They wanted to hold another wedding celebration because Benaiah’s family could not attend their first ceremony.

Maria and Tom
Maria and Tom did not marry and were not together by Netflix’s later update. Netflix describes disagreements involving values, gender roles, and splitting the bill. Its accessed account does not establish which person declined at the altar, so the altar decision should not be attributed to either of them without further sourcing.
Demi and Ollie
Demi said no at the altar, so she and Ollie did not marry. In Netflix’s later account, they described themselves as friends. Ollie said he had also said yes at the ceremony, but later felt they were not ready to marry.

Catherine and Freddie
Catherine said “I do,” but Freddie walked away, so they did not marry. Netflix later reported they briefly tried again and remained friends. In the November 2025 update, Catherine was dating Jake, another member of the Season 1 pod squad.

Netflix’s official schedule listed new episodes for August 7, 14, and 21, 2024, with episodes 10 and 11 released on August 21. The reunion was scheduled for August 26, 2024, at 9 p.m. BST.
