The statement is Hannah’s own acknowledgment of her behavior. The reunion recap supports that apology and phrase; it does not establish a clinical or independent assessment of the relationship.
Are Hannah and Nick still together?
They did not marry. According to Netflix’s post-show cast update, they continued texting after ending their engagement, then decided to cut off the connection. Hannah said there were no hard feelings and that ended relationships should be left ended. Netflix reported both as single in that update; it does not establish either person’s relationship status today.

Hannah on her communication style
In the Netflix update, Hannah described herself as someone who speaks her mind and can be overly honest and direct. She said she had been trying to work on her delivery. She also reflected that people can communicate differently without one person’s style being wrong.
Nick on what he took away
Nick said the experience taught him to take more initiative and responsibility. He also said he sometimes felt disrespected and wished Hannah had been more understanding and careful with her words. Those are Nick’s reflections on the relationship, not an independent finding about either person.
