Collider published an exclusive first look at Hazbin Hotel Season 2 on August 26, 2025, built around eight new images. The article was a visual preview, not a plot breakdown, and it described the Prime Video return as coming that fall. A series-page listing later reported an October 29, 2025 premiere, so the season has already aired. Season 2 is no longer an upcoming release.
What the August 2025 first look was
Hannah Hunt’s Collider article was an exclusive reveal of eight images from the upcoming season. The accessible text of the article offers no episode synopsis, no episode titles, and no quoted comments from cast or crew, so readers should treat it as a visual teaser rather than a preview of the story. Its release framing, that Season 2 was arriving on Prime Video in the fall, reflected expectations at the time of publication.
| # | Preview | Product | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 |
|
Hazbin Hotel: The Official Coloring Book | $12.78 | Buy on Amazon |
| 2 |
|
Funko POP! Animation: Hazbin Hotel - Angel Dust | $15.90 | Buy on Amazon |
The same eight-image premise and author attribution also appeared in an excerpt syndicated by IMDb News and credited to Collider, which is why the headline circulated widely as an image-preview item.
Timeline of the announcement and premiere
| Date | What happened | Source |
|---|---|---|
| August 26, 2025 | Exclusive first look published with eight new images | Collider, by Hannah Hunt |
| Fall 2025 (publication-era wording) | Season 2 described as arriving on Prime Video that season | Collider article |
| October 29, 2025 | Season 2 premiere date reported | Hazbin Hotel series-page listing |
What the eight images do and do not establish
- The image count of eight comes from the article’s headline and framing, and it is the only specific figure the accessible coverage supports.
- The accessible text does not identify who or what appears in each picture. This article therefore does not assign characters, locations, or scenes to any image.
- To see the gallery itself, open the original Collider article. Galleries on news sites can be edited or replaced, so the original page is the reference point for what was shown.
How firm the premiere date is
The October 29, 2025 premiere comes from a crawled series-page listing. It was not checked against an official release announcement opened directly, and the August 2025 article itself gave only a season-level timeframe. Treat October 29, 2025 as the reported premiere date.
