During his Sunday-night set at Coachella 2025’s Outdoor Theatre, Zedd brought out John Mayer, Maren Morris, Elley Duhé and Bea Miller. Their appearances ranged from Mayer playing two songs—with Zedd joining him on drums—to performances of familiar collaborations and tracks from Miller’s catalog.

What is documented about the staging?
The lighting design was made specifically for the Outdoor Theatre show, rather than based on Zedd’s tour design. Stevie Hernandez, the production and lighting designer, said: “This was a one-off, it was not based off the tour.” Hernandez also described the process of planning effects song by song: “We go through every single song and figure out how we’re going to use the pyro.” These are Hernandez’s statements, not quotes from Zedd or the guest artists. 4Wall’s production account credits Hernandez with the design and says 4Wall supported lighting equipment and production systems.

Zedd’s official video archive lists “Zedd (feat. John Mayer) – Automatic Yes – Live at Coachella 2025,” dated April 17, 2025, and a broader “ZEDD LIVE @ COACHELLA 2025” entry dated May 12, 2025.
