Markies Conway, who performs as Yella Beezy, was arrested on March 20, 2025, and charged with capital murder while remuneration in the death of Dallas rapper Melvin Noble, known as Mo3. According to AP, citing court records, a Dallas County grand jury indicted Conway on allegations that he hired Kewon White to kill Noble. Conway has pleaded not guilty and denied involvement. As of October 8, 2026, no trial outcome has been reported. Jury selection was continued in September 2026 and rescheduled for October 26, 2026.
What Conway is charged with
The charge is capital murder while remuneration, which refers to a killing carried out for payment or a promise of payment. The indictment, as reported by AP and CBS Texas, alleges that Conway paid for Noble’s killing by hiring White. That is the prosecution’s theory as set out in the indictment. It has not been tested at trial, and it is not a finding that Conway is responsible.
The indictment did not explain why authorities believed Conway hired White, according to AP. No motive has been established in the reporting available to date, so readers should not assume one.
The 2020 shooting on Interstate 35
Noble was shot on Interstate 35 in south Dallas on November 11, 2020. AP reported that he died at a hospital. A bystander was also shot and survived. The arrest came more than four years after the shooting, and the reporting does not describe what led investigators to Conway in the intervening period.

The September 2026 continuance
FOX 4 reported on September 14, 2026, that Judge Chika Anyiam granted a continuance before jury selection. The defense asked for more time for two reasons: expert witnesses were unavailable, and it wanted a transcript from White’s trial. Prosecutors agreed to the delay. The rescheduled jury-selection date
Hot 97 reported on September 15, 2026, that jury selection had been moved to October 26, 2026. That date is a schedule, not evidence that proceedings have begun. Court dates in pending cases can move again, so the date should be checked against new reporting before it is treated as firm.

AP quoted Mo3’s mother, Nichole Williams Noble, who wrote in a Facebook post after Conway’s arrest: “Justice for my baby!!!!” The quote is from her post as AP reported it. It was not a statement made in court.
