Poker Face will not return for Season 3 on Peacock: the streamer declined to renew it in November 2025. A continuation elsewhere was reportedly going to be shopped to other distributors, but no new home is confirmed in the available reporting. That means a revival remains possible, not announced.
What happened to Poker Face?
TheWrap reported on November 13, 2025, that Peacock would not bring Poker Face back for a third season. The streamer’s official series page lists the existing show as two seasons and 22 episodes, with Season 2 premiering May 8, 2025.

These facts answer two different questions: Peacock did not renew the series, but that does not rule out a continuation made for another distributor. TheWrap said the production team planned to shop a new version to other streamers or broadcasters. The report did not establish that any of them bought it.
Could Poker Face return somewhere else?
Possibly, but a plan to seek a buyer is not a commission. TheWrap’s report described the proposed project as contingent on finding a new home. The available sources do not confirm a pickup, production order, release date, or premiere platform, so there is no confirmed Season 3 to watch for yet.

Rian Johnson and Natasha Lyonne said at the time, “We’ve been germinating this next move together since writing the season two finale,” adding, “Give us a beat and we may just see Charlie Cale again down that open highway.” Their statement signals interest in continuing the story; it is not a renewal announcement.
Would Peter Dinklage replace Natasha Lyonne?
The reported plan for a continuation was a new version led by Peter Dinklage as Charlie Cale, with Lyonne stepping back from the starring role but staying on as an executive producer. TheWrap reported that the proposal involved a two-season commitment, but that was a reported plan—not an order for two seasons, and not evidence that either season has been made.

Until a distributor confirms a project, the casting and format should be treated as proposed rather than final. In particular, Dinklage has not been confirmed as the lead of a commissioned Poker Face series.
Was Season 2 meant to be the ending?
In December 2025, TVLine quoted Lyonne saying she and Johnson had treated the Season 2 finale as a series finale. “We weren’t shocked!” she said of Peacock’s decision. She also expressed support for Dinklage leading a future version and mentioned a possible made-for-TV movie with Johnson. Those were possibilities she discussed, not confirmation that a film had been commissioned.

That context helps explain why the Peacock run can be considered complete even while the creators discuss ways Charlie Cale might return in another form.
