Yes. Finding Her Edge Season 2 is officially in production. Netflix has confirmed filming in Southern Ontario and said it will run through December 2026, but it has not announced a premiere date. Netflix Media Center lists the season as “coming soon” in the United States, with no date attached.
Is Season 2 officially confirmed?
Yes. Netflix’s Tudum announcement dated September 3, 2026, titled “Finding Her Edge Glides Back into Production for Season 2,” states that the series is back in production in Southern Ontario. That is the primary source for the production status, the premise, the cast and the creative team described below.
When does Season 2 premiere?
Netflix has not announced a premiere date. The September 3, 2026 update gives production timing only: filming is expected to continue through December 2026. A December filming endpoint means the cameras stop then; it does not tell you when viewers will see the episodes, which typically comes months later.

- “Coming soon” on Netflix Media Center. This label is on Netflix’s catalog page for the series and applies to the United States. It carries no date, and the cited page does not say how other territories are handled.
- “A juicy Season 2 coming this year.” Madelyn Keys, who plays Adriana Russo, said this in the same Tudum announcement. It is a cast member’s promotional comment, not a release commitment. Until Netflix publishes a newer official release announcement, a 2027 or any other specific premiere is speculation.
What is the Season 2 story?
The Russo sisters leave their family rink for Voltage Skating Academy, where they chase National Team ambitions. Netflix’s Tudum piece says Adriana is working through her relationship with Freddie and an unresolved connection with her former skating partner, Brayden.
Jeff Norton, showrunner and executive producer, framed the move this way in the announcement: “The world fell in love with our figure skaters in Season 1, and it’s a privilege to be able to continue their character arcs as they swap Russo Rink for Voltage Skating Academy with new loves, new rivalries, and new competitions.”

Where can you watch Season 1 and prepare for Season 2?
Finding Her Edge streams on Netflix. Season 1 is the only season currently available, so it is the place to start if you have not seen it. The show is adapted from Jennifer Iacopelli’s novel Finding Her Edge, as reported by What’s on Netflix in its February 3, 2026 coverage of the renewal. The novel is the source material, not a companion to the television season, so reading it will not give you Season 2 plot details.
What is still unknown
- The exact premiere date and month.
- Whether Season 2 will release in a single batch or on a weekly schedule.
- The episode count.
- Release timing in territories outside the United States.
Watch the Netflix Tudum site and the Netflix Media Center page for an official premiere announcement. Until one appears, treat any specific date from other outlets as unconfirmed.
