No. Netflix and Marvel announced in October 2018 that Marvel’s Iron Fist would not return for a third season on Netflix. Finn Jones is reported to reprise Danny Rand in season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again, a separate series—not in a revived season of Iron Fist.
Why was Iron Fist canceled?
After two seasons, Netflix and Marvel announced that the series would not continue on Netflix. TheWrap reported the joint announcement on October 12, 2018, and UPI covered it on October 13. Both reproduced the statement: “Marvel’s Iron Fist will not return for a third season on Netflix.” TheWrap; UPI.
Does Danny Rand’s reported return mean Iron Fist is coming back?
No. GamesRadar+ reported on August 4, 2026, that Finn Jones would return as Danny Rand in season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again. That is a report about a different series, not an announcement renewing or reviving Iron Fist. GamesRadar+.
The same report gave March 2027 as the expected arrival for Daredevil: Born Again season 3. That is a reported future date for that show, subject to change; it is not an Iron Fist release date.
