The simplest way to watch The Crow is in release order, starting with the 1994 original and ending with the 2024 reboot. The television series, The Crow: Stairway to Heaven, can be slotted in as an optional companion. Streaming availability in this guide comes from U.S. catalog checks made in September 2026, and it shifts often, so treat it as a starting point rather than a guarantee.
Watch order
Watch the films in this sequence:
- The Crow (1994)
- The Crow: City of Angels (1996)
- The Crow: Salvation (2000)
- The Crow: Wicked Prayer (2005)
- The Crow (2024)
The Crow: Stairway to Heaven (1998) is a single season of 22 episodes. You can watch it right after the original 1994 film, or once you have finished the film run. Neither choice is official. The sources available for this guide do not establish one shared chronology across the films and the series, so the order above is a practical recommendation for a first viewing, not a continuity map.

Because two entries share the title “The Crow,” check the year on the listing before you start or rent. The 1994 original and the 2024 film are separate productions.

The table lists services that appeared in U.S. catalog results. “Not stated” means the check did not record that category for that title.

The series: The Crow: Stairway to Heaven
The 1998 series is the hardest entry to find on streaming. The U.S. catalog check showed no streaming option for it. The only purchase option was a DVD listing. If you want the series, a physical copy may be the most dependable route for now. Before you buy, confirm:
- That the listing is the complete series, meaning all 22 episodes in one season.
- The region format of the disc, which determines whether it plays on your player.
- That the seller has the item in stock.
Choosing how to watch
Each title can be reached in four ways, and they differ in cost and convenience:
Rank #2
- Subscription streaming: Included in a plan you already pay for, or sold as an add-on channel. Access that is included does not mean free, since it may require a paid plan or extra channel fee.
- Ad-supported streaming: Free to watch, with commercial breaks. Ad tolerance is a personal call.
- Digital rent or purchase: A one-time charge for one title. Renting suits a single viewing, while buying suits a rewatch.
- Physical disc: The only route the U.S. check recorded for the Stairway to Heaven series.
When comparing options, look at the total cost for the whole run, whether a title is already part of a subscription you hold, the video quality each storefront offers, and whether the title is available in your country.

- Search the exact title and year on the service, or on a catalog site such as JustWatch, which aggregates availability from many providers.
- Set the country or region to your own. Catalog results are U.S.-specific, and availability elsewhere may differ.
- Confirm the release year matches the entry you want, since the 1994 and 2024 films share a title.
- For a series or disc, check the episode count, edition, and region code on the listing.
Catalog aggregators are useful for comparing many services at once, but they are not rights holders. Paramount+’s official title page confirms the 1994 film is on that service, and Lionsgate’s official catalog lists the 2024 film. Neither page on its own confirms current streaming availability, so check the service itself before paying.
