Lewis said he had heard that PK felt Dorit had changed since appearing on the show, and that RHOBH had become a major priority over marriage and family. He explicitly qualified the point: “he felt, and I’m not speaking for him.” This is Lewis’s secondhand account of PK’s view, not a confirmed statement from PK or an independently established explanation for the separation.
How this differs from the alcohol-related discussion
In the same reported comments, Lewis referred to the alcohol-related framing around PK and said he did not know the status of PK’s drinking. He then offered the priorities explanation as what he had heard PK felt. Those are distinct reported perspectives; Lewis’s remarks do not prove either one was the cause of the couple’s separation.

What is known about the Kemsleys’ relationship status
Bravo reported in May 2024 that Dorit and PK had announced their separation. Bravo’s coverage documents that announcement. The available reporting cited here does not verify a divorce filing or establish the couple’s legal status as of October 8, 2026, so “separation” is the supported description rather than a confirmed divorce.
