On July 10, 2025, Us Weekly reported that multiple unnamed sources said Aniston and Curtis were dating. The outlet said they had been photographed together for the first time over Fourth of July weekend while vacationing in Mallorca, Spain, with Aniston’s longtime friend Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka. One source told the publication that mutual friends introduced them and that their relationship began as a friendship. Those details were attributed to sources, not confirmed by either Aniston or Curtis at the time.
Social-media clues—not confirmation
The same report noted that Aniston had liked a number of Curtis’s Instagram posts, including a July 2 video about recovering from a breakup. It also said Curtis had liked a May 25 photo dump by Aniston that included his 2024 book, Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide. Likes and the appearance of a book in a photo can attract attention, but neither establishes that two people are romantically involved.

September 2025: more visibility
ELLE’s relationship timeline says Curtis was seen at the premiere of The Morning Show season four and describes Aniston as having soft-launched the relationship on Instagram that September. These developments followed the July report; they did not make the earlier anonymous-source claims firsthand confirmation.

In interview coverage published November 12, 2025, ELLE reported Aniston speaking about Curtis as her boyfriend and praising his work and character. The Los Angeles Times reported on November 3 that Aniston had made the romance Instagram official with a birthday post on November 2. ELLE gave the caption as: “Happy birthday my love. Cherished ❤️ ”
2026: Curtis speaks about the relationship
In an August 31, 2026 report, Us Weekly said Curtis described the relationship as a year and a half old and spoke about meditation and conversation. ELLE’s September 2026 profile summarized Curtis’s account of a friendship lasting many months before the romance. These are his descriptions as reported by the outlets, not independently verified accounts of the couple’s private history.

What Aniston said—and what Curtis does
In the November 2025 interview coverage, Aniston described Curtis this way: “Hypnotism is one of the many things that he does. He’s quite extraordinary, and helps many, many people. He’s very special, very normal, and very kind, and wants to help people heal, move through their trauma and stagnation into clarity. It’s a beautiful thing to commit your life to.”
“Hypnotist” is therefore an incomplete shorthand. ELLE describes Curtis as a life coach and hypnotherapist; its later profile says he describes himself as a wellness pioneer, author, and coach. Aniston’s praise is her personal description of his work and character, not independent evidence that hypnotherapy produces particular clinical outcomes.
