Ashley Hollis won Big Brother Season 27 on the U.S. version of the show. CBS News reported that she won the jury vote 6–1, and CBS’s official episode directory dates the finale to September 28, 2025.
How the finale played out
The season’s final episode is where the last three houseguests compete for the power to cast the final eviction vote, and then the jury returns to choose a winner. According to Parade’s finale interview with Hollis, the sequence ran like this:
- Hollis won the final Head of Household competition.
- She evicted Morgan Pope.
- She took Vince Panaro to the final two.
- The jury voted, and Hollis was chosen as the winner.
Hollis said she believed she could beat Vince, but she did not expect the jury vote to be as one-sided as it turned out.
Who Ashley Hollis is
A Parade cast profile published before the season listed Hollis as 25, from Chicago, living in New York, and working as an attorney. Those details come from that pre-season profile and may have changed since it was published. In her cast interview she described a background in pageantry, modeling, performing, competitive dance, and track, and said she has a law degree.

Her game, in her own words
In a post-finale interview, Hollis said that keeping her attorney background to herself helped her. Houseguests underestimated her and spoke freely around her. She also described repeatedly repositioning herself and building new working relationships as her close allies were evicted.
“I think it helped my game, because people in that house thought I was dumb.”
She said this to TV Insider while explaining why she did not disclose her job. It is her own retrospective account of her strategy, not independent evidence that any single tactic decided the outcome. CBS News’s post-finale interview gives the length of her stay as 83 days.
